How Emergency Power Systems Work
1. The electricity grid supplies traditional power.
2. A portion of grid power is distributed to the main panel (non-critical loads: comfort, excess lighting, accessories, high-powered appliances) and the remainder continues on to an Inverter/Battery Tower.
3. The inverter cleans the grid electricity and then supplies it to your back-up panel. When grid power is down, stored energy from you battery bank is delivered straight to your back-up panel.
4. The back-up panel supplies electricity to critical loads such as critical lighting, computers, communications, and security.
5. If solar power is used, it feeds directly into your Inverter/Battery Tower where it can either be distributed to your electrical panels for immediate use or stored for future needs.
6. Regency Operations Center continually monitors your energy availability so you’ll never be caught without power.
